If you type into your search engine 'flights to Disney Florida' or 'Disney Florida flights' you get a whole wealth of information about how best to get to Florida, the best offers etc. We have taken a snap shot of this and summarised some of the 'better' airline deals we could find to get you to Disney World - the most magical place on earth!
We start with Virgin Atlantic, a well know International carrier that has multiple USA Florida flights, more specifically to Orlando. Should you want to fly on or about 20th December to make it a Merry Christmas holiday and spend plenty of time with Mickey and Friends at Disney World Florida then you should be looking earlier each year at ticket prices to get the best deal during this normally expensive peak season travelling period. Typically prices are in the region of £1,300 per person, but there are so many special offers and discounts available including Disney World holiday packages.
Virgin airline normally has USA flights daily to Orlando International Airport (MCO) from London Gatwick in UK and flights to Orlando typically departing around 13:00 UK time arriving around 17:30 US time, taking approximately 9 hours. This is a pretty decent time to fly for holiday travel while having a comfortable, spacious and entertaining time on board which is second to none.
If you and the family wanted to travel earlier in the year, say around November prices fluctuate substantially. So it really does depend on the time of year you fly. The main thing to remember is that you can earn loads of air miles if you sign up to Virgin's Frequent flyer programme. Again if you were looking at early January 2010 return flights to Disney Florida then generally the earlier you book, the more you save on your tickets.
British Airways has a range of offers and appears to be trying to cater more for accomodation as much as flights these days, so there are some interesting prices.
BA flights to Disney World Florida also depart from London Gatwick and tend to leave earlier in the morning around 11:25 arriving in Orlando Florida at 17:25. There are a number of airlines which also use London Gatwick for their Florida flights. See also: Melbourne Coast for Melbourne, Orlando Florida International Airport (MLB). Naturally the one thing travellers should always consider is the booking restrictions for once booked and paid for trying to change tickets can sometimes be expensive or difficult. So it is best to double check dates and reservations before you pay so you can enjoy your Disney World Resort holiday and all the other Orlando holiday attractions. |
