Get yourself ready for that time of year again! The Christmas decorations will have been put away and the shop shelves are already candy coloured and heart shaped, Valentines Day is only a few weeks away!! To prepare for the romantic day the writers at Unofficial Florida Disney have put together a few ideas on where and what you can do to entertain your sweetheart on this very special occasion ....
Valentine's Day Events at Disney Theme Parks Magic Kingdom At 3pm why not take your sweetheart to the Dream Come True Parade, or if you prefer there is a further parade at 7pm, the Main Street Electrical Parade. Finish the evening off/or begin the evening at the Magic Kingdom by watching the Wishes Fireworks at 8pm EPCOT Why not take your loved one to EPCOT and watch the Illuminations at 9pm Hollywood Studios Take your romantic companion to Hollywood Studios today, where it is hosting Extra Magic Hours in the evening from 7pm-10pm!! Perfect! This is a very popular event, so be sure to plan your evening well. Perhaps consider taking your date to the Extra Magic Hours and then…don’t forget to BOOK A ROMANTIC DINNER at one of Disney’s very many wonderful restaurants… Here are a few ideas, but depending on just how romantic you want to be, the guys at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando Florida and Disneyland Paris (for UK residents looking for a cosy weekend in Paris) can organise just about anything to make your evening truly memorable; from flowers, organised by the Walt Disney Florist all the way to popping the big question with the help of Disney's Magical Proposal Packages at Cinderella's Royal Table.

1. An extremely super romantic proposal:
Disney's Magical Proposal Packages at Cinderella's Royal Table. Go all the way and make this night a night you'll talk about for years to come and book a table at Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom, reputed to be Disney World's finest restaurant (only the best will do!). Here you can enjoy an all inclusive set dinner in the splendour of a fantasy castle, what's more there are always photographers close by that can capture the celebration. The organisation is impeccable and can be arranged to finest detail: notable features include a specially crafted Chocolate Slipper Dessert, which is a Glass Slipper that has been beautifully engraved in which the ring is presented. There are, of course, elegant flutes of champagne and you can tailor your evening as you like it - hiring singers, flowers (see the Florist, below) and watching the fireworks. Special Valentines Day menu’s have been put together by two of the Disney World Resort restaurants: Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel and Carnation Cafe, located on Main Street, USA in Disneyland park.
Steakhouse 55: The “Sweetheart Dinner Menu” at Steakhouse 55 starts with a glass of champagne presented in etched champagne flutes filled with “Magicale” Sparkling Sweet Brachetto Rose or Iron Horse Fairytale Cuvee.
First Course: Either, Steakhouse 55’s signature onion soup or wedge salad.
Main Course: There are four to choose from, Filet Mignon, Halibut Steak with Lemon Caper Sauce, Shelton Free-Range Double Breast of Chicken or, Portobello Mushroom Stack with Roasted Peppers. All main courses are served with your choice of steamed asparagus spears or potatoes au gratin.
Desert: a heart-shaped Chocolate & Kahlua Mousse with a Crispy Praline Center.
Carnation Café: Valentines diners will find angel hair pasta with pesto marinated shrimp and roasted red bell pepper cream sauce. For dessert, there is a refreshing and delicious strawberry and passion fruit shortcake with whipped cream.

Highly recommended for Valentines Day is at Harbour Nights, where you can enjoy gormet food and watch the moon reflecting in the waterside piazza. Guests will enjoy great food as well as live music by the Dave Capp Project throughout the evening! Dinner costs $35 in advance and $45 at the door, per person. If you wish to push the boat out, why not reserve a table in advance for $60 in advance and $70 at the door. Reserved seating allows diners access to a private wine station !

Disneyworld, Disneyland and Disney themed gifts can be romantic at any time of year, but why not make your special someone feel special this year and take them for a really special lunch or extremely romantic dinner, with a fairytale backdrop and a setting of red roses??? i.
